Inspired by the grace of the horse and the intrinsic peace of countryside landscapes in New England and Britain, Horse & Kettle Design Company L.L.C. offers equestrian and landscape artworks as well as an equestrian scarf collection. The scarf designs feature H&K original artworks.
Horse & Kettle Design Co. is based in Massachusetts and all products are produced in either the U.S. or Montreal, Canada.
Bring the beautiful lines of the horse and refreshing nature scenes into your favorite spaces with a high quality print, original painting, or a commissioned artwork. Horse & Kettle artworks suit a variety of budgets and interior decors, from rustic elegance or modern to traditional or cozy cottage. We hope you enjoy traveling through our favorite places and meeting a friendly gathering of animals in the artworks and photography featured here.
Creating new worlds through art is my life-long passion. Along the way, I discovered another passion. Caring for rescue horses. Being around these graceful creatures inspired me to capture their spirit and beauty in paintings.
Now, the majority of my artworks feature the friendly horses I’ve had the privilege to meet along the way.
Studying the Boston School method of painting for two years has given me new insights to painting portraits. It is impressionism with an approach to realism that captures the essence of the subject with a beautiful rendering of color, form, and light.
I have explored a variety of mediums previously, including colored pencils, watercolors, and acrylics, now working predominantly in oils. The style of my work has evolved through children’s book illustration, abstract, Trompe-l’oeil, and whimsical realism.
My work has sold as fine art prints, commissions, greeting cards, home decor products, fashion accessories, and yoga leggings.
